3 Days Desert Tour (Marrakech to Marrakech). DAY 1: Marrakech – Atlas Mountains – Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou – Valley Of Roses – Dades – Tinghir: Around 7:00 am, our driver will pick you up from your Riad/Hotel in Marrakech. Then we begin our journey toward the Dades Valley. We cross the majestic “Tizi N’Tichka” Pass in the High Atlas Mountains, where Berber villages blend seamlessly into the rugged landscape. We continue to the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a fortified ksar that has served as the backdrop for films such as Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, and Kingdom of Heaven. After exploring, enjoy a Berber lunch with panoramic views of the kasbah. Our journey continues along the “Road of a Thousand Kasbahs,” through the Valley of Roses and Kalaat M’gouna, famous for its Rose Festival. We then reach Tinghir near the Todra Gorge, where we will spend the night in a cozy riad with dinner and breakfast included. DAY 2: Todra Gorges – Amazigh Villages – Erfoud – Merzouga Desert (Camel Trek & Overnight in Berber Camp): After a traditional breakfast, we drive through scenic roads lined with ancient kasbahs and charming Berber villages. We pass through a lush valley of palm groves leading to the breathtaking Todra Gorges, where towering cliffs of pink and grey rock surround us. We take a walking tour through the gorge before continuing toward the golden Erg Chebbi dunes of Merzouga. Here, a camel caravan awaits to carry you across the dunes during a 1.5-hour trek. Pause to watch the sunset and try sandboarding if you wish. As dusk falls, we reach the Berber desert camp where mint tea, a warm dinner, Berber music, and a campfire under the stars await. Overnight in a traditional nomadic tent in the heart of the Sahara DAY 3: Merzouga Desert – Atlas Mountains – Marrakech: Wake early to watch the sunrise over the Sahara before riding your camel back to Merzouga village. After breakfast, we set out once again across valleys and Berber towns, making our way to Ouarzazate for a leisurely lunch. Our road then winds back through the High Atlas Mountains, finally arriving in Marrakech around 19:00, where our 3-day adventure ends.
